Billy TK jnr Ltd in association with Air New Zealand and Pacific Resort
organized and launched the 1st Annual Jazz and Blues Festival.
Billy Te Kahika says: "This festival was an opportunity to have some
world class Blues and Jazz musicians perform in one of the most beautiful
settings in the world. I couldn’t imagine anything better than listening to
wonderful live music while enjoying a Cook Islands sunset and hospitality". For anyone who likes the luxury of listening to good music in a small
audience and personal contact with the musicians, this festival is a gem.
And Rarotonga with it's relaxed atmosphere in a tropical climate is
the perfect venue. The business community of Rarotonga has made it possible and among
the many sponsors of this wonderful festival, I would like to point out
the two hotels who hosted the musicians:
The Little Polynesian
and the Pacific Resort Rarotonga |
